Zenith zooms to Rainbow Market

Melbourne-based singer/songwriter and indie pop artist Rainie Zenith, along with her musical partner G-Chubb, has said she is looking forward to performing at the Rainbow Twilight Market on October 28.
Her current single “Pushing Thirty” is a pop dance anthem while her previous single “Reasons to Hate Me” was very popular on Spotify.
This will be Ms Zenith's first time visiting this part of Victoria.
“I am looking forward to seeing the town, meeting some locals and enjoying the market," she said.
"I'm hoping to add to the atmosphere at the market.
"I have played at the Tallarook Music Festival near Seymour for the last five years, but most of our gigs are in the Greater Melbourne area."
Ms Zenith said her performances are based on energy and colour, and that her work in musical theatre has helped her find her place on stage.
"Seven years ago, I started playing the ukulele, but before that I had been writing songs for many years," she said.
"Watching performers on stage, it seemed like lots of fun for them - there seemed to be a real buzz to be up on stage so I started performing in public."
Her novel is on its third rewrite and is something she has been working on for the last two years, along with running, playing Futsal (indoor soccer), and an interest in history and crystals - all part of Ms Zenith’s eclectic interests, including a history of playing footy!
The Rainbow Twilight Market has about 30 stalls already booked in, and will have a Mexican Fiesta theme with pinatas for the children.
