Sunday February 12 saw the Warracknabeal Fire Brigade juniors travel to St Arnaud to participate in the Greater Midlands competition.
They had a very successful day, winning and placing in a number of events.
The under 14’s won Y coupling 4 competitors
Marshall 2 competitors
Wet hose 4 competitors striking 2nd disc
placed second and 3 rd in Y coupling 2 competitors
Placing 4th and 5th in one man Marshall
Placing 2nd in the wet hose 2 competitors
Under 17’s won the Y coupling 4 competitors
Placing 2nd in hydrant race
3rd and 5th in wet hose 2 competitors
Placing 4th wet hose 4 competitors striking 1 & 2nd disc
1st in wet hose 4 competitors striking 1 disc twice
5th in one man Marshall
3rd and 4th in 2 man Marshall
3rd in Y coupling 2 competitors
Both teams U/14 and U/17 had a very successful day taking home second place in their age aggregates and winning the overall combined Junior Aggregate which is a great team effort.
The teams will head to Tatura this Saturday for their next competition.
