Jeparit Rainbow Football Netball Club juniors took part in 12 weeks of X-Fit sessions, finishing up with the X-Fit games on Thursday December 22. Tom Long who supervised the before school sessions at both Rainbow and Jeparit said that the average attendance at the sessions was 12. “Lenny Weir, Dustin Eckermann and Fletcher Keller hardly missed a session,” he said. “It was a great effort from the participants to get up so early once a week and they all should be very proud of their efforts. “Today I wish to thank parents Krissy Weir, Bec Bastin and Tennille Gould for scoring the events, and Don Fisher for cooking the barbeque.” On the day of the X-Fit games, the juniors were joined by some adults with a total of 22 competitors taking on a variety of events. The events included Sally-Up, sand track relays, tennis ball bowling, wall sits and ping pong golf. At the end of the competition the winning team was Montanna Hutson and Marcel Badua. Lenny Weir and Parker Gould tied for second place with grandmother/granddaughter duo Jenny Heinrich and Addison Fisher.
