Women's Health Grampians AGM focused on gender equality on, off the field
Womens Health Grampians AGM focused on gender equality in sports.

Women's Health Grampians will spotlight gender equality in sports at its annual general meeting on November 20, 2024.
The 2024 theme "Equal the Contest: Gender Equality On and Off the Field" will feature keynote speaker Mitch Nivalis, an award-winning filmmaker and advocate.
They will discuss their work on Equal the Contest, a documentary exploring inclusion in a regional women's football club.
The 2023 documentary follows the 42-year-old, non-binary filmmaker who joins a new local women's footy club in Regional Victoria where a simple desire to play becomes a complex journey of inclusion and belonging.
Equal the Contest was selected for eight film festivals in Australia and Internationally and won several awards, including the Positive Media Award at the Australian Pride in Sport awards.
Nivalis' presentation will be followed by a panel discussion featuring prominent voices in sports management and advocacy, including AFL Victoria's Ange Ballinger and QAFLW player Gemma Sounness, examining how sports can drive cultural change and promote gender equality in the community.
The November 20 AGM will be held at the Horsham Golf Club, 304 Golf Course Road, Haven, from 11am-1pm.
