Whole-of-team effort essential for win

With just a couple of games completed for the Eagles in the Wimmera Football Netball League A grade netball, the Sarah Spicer-led side is sitting at one loss and one win.
But the Eagles will be hoping to swing that ratio in their favour this Saturday as Dimboola and Warrack do battle at Dimboola Recreation Reserve.
Dimboola has had only one hitout this season and drew with Ararat, whereas the Eagles lost to the Horsham Saints before claiming a win against Stawell.
Spicer says the different styles both sides play will make for an interesting hit out this Saturday.
"I believe they are a similar team to last year – and they were very strong so it won't be easy," she said.
"They are tall and good in the air.
"We play a different style, keeping the ball lower and using our pace, so it will be an interesting game."
Spicer said she would be looking to the side's experienced players to lead on Saturday but in the end it would need to be an entire effort from the team if they were to get the win.
"Jess Kelly, Emma Koschitzke, Maddie Okely, Briodi McKenzie: they all play in key positions and will look for their leadership to help us get the win," she said.
"It will take all nine players to succeed on Saturday so we'll see whose team can use their depth the best."
