Vets and Seniors visit Murtoa
The Wimmera Vets and Senior Ladies Golfers played in Murtoa on Monday, with 31 men and nine ladies enjoying weather which was perfect for golf The A-grade winner for the Men's side was David Baker with 37 points, followed by runner-up Rex Koning...
The Wimmera Vets and Senior Ladies Golfers played in Murtoa on Monday, with 31 men and nine ladies enjoying weather which was perfect for golf
The A-grade winner for the Men's side was David Baker with 37 points, followed by runner-up Rex Koning with 36.
The B-grade Men's winner was Rob Norton with 38 points, with Ferdie Mosiero taking runner-up with 32 points, on a countback with Brian Cready and Ray Robinson, also on 32.
The winner of the Ladies section was Anna Thomson from Horsham with 36 points, and runner-up was Val Scott, also from Horsham, with 34 points.
Nearest the pin on the 3rd was David Baker and Josie Illig, on the 6th wasRay Robinson and Paula Clark, on the 12th was Jeff Allen and Josie Illig, and on the 14th was Leon Toy and Elaine Oakley.
The Best Nine Out went also went to Josie Illig, from Grange, with 17 points, while the Best Nine In was awarded to Dimboola's Heather Richards with 19 points.

The next event is at Grange Golf Club on Monday September 4.
