Trial date set for pair charged with Dimboola murder
A trial date has been set for the pair charged with the murder of 71-year-old Dimboola man John Lindsay Hunter in January 2023.

Forty-two-year-old Jodie Rebecca Hill and 54-year-old Thomas Clarke were both charged in February of last year.
They appeared in the Supreme Court of Victoria on Tuesday November 12 via videolink for a directions hearing.
They have both pleaded not guilty and will appear in Melbourne for a joint four week trial on May 12, 2025.
The body of Mr Hunter was discovered at a property in Victoria Street, Dimboola, on the evening of January 23, 2023, just one block away from the local police station.
The township was in shock as plain clothes and uniform officers questioned locals as they cordoned off the house, and forensic teams were on site the next day collecting evidence.
