Thunder out as Eagles progress to GF
The stage was set for another big game for Southern Mallee Thunder's C grade girls against the Warrack Eagles, with the loser to be out of the finals race.
It was an even start to the match with both teams showing signs of nerves before settling into the game.
This continued into the second quarter with Thunder gaining a slight advantage before the Eagles pegged it back to an even contest again.
The Eagles started the second half well with some good ball movement and slick passages of play.
With the Thunder family behind them, the C grade girls lifted their intensity and pressure and started to close the gap, but the Eagles had all the answers.

Thunder kept coming at the Eagles until the final siren but couldn’t claw back the lead, with the Eagles sealing the win by five goals.
