Third straight premiership claimed by Horsham Saints 17 and under squad
Horsham Saints beat Horsham Demons in Dimboola.
The Horsham Saints 17 and under netballers are 2024 premiers.
The side beat Horsham Demons 67-58 in the grand final in Dimboola on Saturday, September 21.
With this victory, the Horsham Saints go three-in-a-row for 17 and under premierships.
"Three-in-a-row for the girls, there's some that have been in all three," said the Saints coach Ash Grace.
"It's very nice to be able to finish up their junior career on a high."
The Saints' height advantage came to play for the side, aiding the side across the court.
"It's really nice to be able to look down and you've got a target," said Grace.
"It gives you a lot of confidence to take the ball and do what you want to do with it.
"We're so lucky we have such tall players in our team and we can use their height to our advantage."
It was goal shooter Jorja Clode and centre Cara Tippet who were named in the Saints' best.
