The Horsham Spring Garden and Lifestyle Festival is on this weekend
Everything you need to know about gardening is on your doorstep this weekend with the Horsham Spring Garden and Lifestyle Show ready to excite garden lovers. It's set against the beautiful backdrop of the Horsham Botanic Gardens.
The 34th annual 2024 Horsham Spring Garden and Lifestyle Festival is on October 12 and 13.
Visitors to the event will be treated to a presentation on vegetation management and property preparation and information on fire wise species of grasses and plants.
Garden Gurus will be in hand to advise and educate the novice and the experience gardener.
Ambulance Victoria will provide information and demonstrations on topics including calling 000, cardiac health, thunderstorm asthma, snake and insect bites and stings which is part of the summer campaign of preparing for the heat.
Native animals will be on display and there will be demonstrations to educate people about the creatures often found in your garden.
The festival also includes sustainable lifestyle focused exhibits, demonstrations, and presentations promoting eco-friendly and sustainable gardening practices.
Exhibits include tree lopping, pottery, honey, Horsham Paws, bushwalking, Makers Gallery, horticulture, BB'sques, spuds, icecream and giftware.
As well as the garden based stalls and demonstrations there will be coffee and food vans, face painting for the children.
Entry is $6 with free entry for children accompanied by an adult.
