The first sporting Saturday of 2025 as action returns across Horsham
Cricket and lawn bowls returned on Saturday, January 18.

Some of the region's summer sporting stars returned to the playing surfaces on Saturday, January 18 after the Christmas/ New Year break.
The sun beamed down on Horsham as the HCA's A Grade cricketers and Wimmera Playing Area weekend pennant lawn bowlers resumed their respective competitions.
At Dudley Cornell Park, Colts were sent into bat by Lubeck Murtoa, while Homers asked Brim KSH to do the same at Sunnyside Recreation Reserve.
Elsewhere, Horsham Tigers made the trip to Davis Park to play West Wimmera, Noradjuha Toolondo face Laharum and Noradjuha Recreation Reserve.
While the cricketers battled next door, Sunnyside welcomed Goroke/Edenhope to Horsham in division one bowls.
Ladder leaders Coughlin Park played Dimboola and Horsham City travelled to Kaniva.
In a huge top-four clash, Nhill made to face Horsham Golf.
The remainder of the HCA's senior competitions return on Saturday, January 25, while there is only two rounds of the regular season remaining for the lawn bowlers.
