A country pub hosted a TV show with a difference, as locals in the bar watched themselves on the big screen on Thursday, July 6.
They gathered at the Railway Hotel in Murtoa to relive the filming in March of an episode of Australia's favourite cooking program, MasterChef, at the town's heritage listed Stick Shed.
Contestants on the show were tasked with serving up a three-course extravaganza, featuring grain as the hero ingredient of their chosen appetiser, main or dessert.
After three hours of cooking, they presented their gastronomic wonders to the three host judges - and 25 diners, including members of the Murtoa Progress Association and Murtoa Events and The Stick Shed's committee and staff.
And didn't they savour every minute!
