Sustainable tourism in the spotlight
Sustainable tourism will be the focus of an event in Horsham on Wednesday, October 30.
Grampians Wimmera Mallee Tourism will deliver a hands-on seminar that will delve into essential strategies for building purpose-led, climate-active businesses and visitor events, and experiences capable of thriving amid the evolving challenges of the sector.
Participants will then embark on a Positive Impact Learning Tour, where they can learn and be inspired by other local businesses and organisations who are successfully implementing sustainable tourism principles in their own backyard.
“We are excited to offer this opportunity for our tourism industry to connect, learn and shape a sustainable the future of tourism in our area," GWMT CEO Marc Sleeman said.
The event will be held at the Horsham Ag Society from 9am to 1pm.
Registration for the workshops is free for partners of Grampians Wimmera Mallee Tourism.
