Suspicious blaze destroys Dimboola business
Authorities are investigating a suspicious overnight fire in Dimboola. Several residents reported hearing ‘loud pops’ around 2:30 am on Thursday, February 19.

Twelve CFA units, Victoria Police, and Ambulance Victoria responded to the tobacco and gift store on Lloyd Street.
A CFA spokesperson reported that crews arrived to find the building fully alight and began suppression efforts immediately.
The building’s roof collapsed during firefighting efforts; no one was inside at the time.

A section of Lloyd Street, from Wimmera to Lochiel Streets, remained closed throughout the day as investigations continued.
The Wimmera Bakery, located next to the affected shop, was also closed.
