Students thank first responders
Wimmera Lutheran College's Dimboola campus honoured emergency services on Wednesday June 11 to mark National Thank a First Responder Day.
Students marked the occasion by drawing first responders and colouring-in images to say thanks.
Showing their appreciation and recongising the hard work these people do every day to keep the community safe, students shared stories of a time where they personally or someone they know received help from a first responder during an emergency.
The recent Little Desert National Park bushfire demonstrated how brave and dedicated emergency services are.

National Thank a First Responder Day is an initiative of Fortem Australia, an independent not-for-profit organisation that supports the mental health and wellbeing of first responders and their families.
