Two Warracknabeal Special Development School groups painted a voyage in light at Horsham Town Hall on Friday.
The school’s groups 1 and 3 took part in the Spark – Sea of Light sessions, an imaginative and illuminating interactive installation on the stage floor of the hall.
The students painted and stencilled their "voyage" and steered ships that left glowing paths of light in their wake, using a UV torch as the paintbrush.
They also looked into the paintings on the ocean floor at the Sea of Light exhibition by Indigenous visual artist Elizabeth Close, exploring the relationship between land and sea, earth and waterways.
Eight schools from across the Wimmera took part in the light show and soundscape, creating a unique sensory adventure.
