This was it for the A-grade - if they won today they play finals, and if they lose their season was over.
It was all in their hands.
They knew it was not going to be an easy game as Taylors Lake are a very young, physical side, so their game plan was simple: short, sharp, fast netball and just keep working hard.
They showed great patience and persistence, and the first half was a real grind.
They had their chances to pull away, but Taylors Lake were definitely not making it easy.
After half time, JR really put their foot down, playing some very disciplined netball and were able to take a handy lead going into the last quarter.
A little bit of a scrappy finish to the game, but no doubt they did what they needed to do and came away with a good win.
Hannah McIllree received the $50 Martion Rural award for a great game at GS. She shot 37 goals and held strongly all day.
Bridget Dorrington received the Marra Ag Towel for another solid performance being that last line of defence, and even coming out for a fly at the end which showed how good of a day she was having.

It was the last game for the U13 girls’ 2023 season and they were determined to finish on a high.
After coming off a good win last week, they were eager to bring this form into today and it was evident from the first centre pass.
They applied plenty of pressure, not allowing Taylors Lake to see much of the ball, and the flow down the court into the goal ring was seamless.
No matter what changes were made, the team were unaffected as they continued on their winning way.
A great last game from all the girls - they should all be very proud of how far they have come over the course of the year.
They got their highest score for the year this week, winning 42 to Taylors Lake 8.
Lydia Paech saw plenty of the ball, intercepting and getting touches all game, and for this she received the Marra Ag Drink Bottle.
Amaya Eckermann who shot and moved superbly in GS, then was moved to teh other end of the court and found herself defending. You would have thought it was a different person as she adjusted to the role and played a magnificent game. For this she received the JR Socks donated by Lesters.
Eliza Clarke received the Sweat Towel donated by Petsch for showing great improvement, and even having a stint at WD on her own request.
Giaan Eckermann also received a Sweat Towel. Her passing into the ring was spot on, and so was her chase for the ball all game.
Addison Fisher received $5 donated by the coaches for her usual consistent performance and always offering down court, and Taylor Fisher also received $5 donated by the coaches for her determination and great play.
Ruby Tregenza received a Sweat Towel for playing a beautiful game at both GA and GS, and combining well with her teammates.
Giselle Clugston always provides a good option, no matter where she plays, and again, displayed this today to receive $5 donated by the coaches.
