"Gumnut" entrants - riders under 10 years of age - were raring to go in last weekend's Stockman's Challenge 2023, setting the standard across the sections.
Held at the Dimboola Recreation Reserve, the event was well attended, drawing over 80 riders and visitors from as far afield as Mount Gambier and Portland.

The challenge was hosted by the Wimmera Equestrian Club and consisted of four components for each age group - a working dry pattern, whip crack, obstacle course and a time trial - with a maximum of 400 points on offer.
All competitors showed a spirit of goodwill.
