A packed night of speedway action is coming to Blue Ribbon Raceway this Saturday, with super rods featuring Stan Marco Jnr, plus compact speedcars and JSPA juniors.

Supports include the V8 trucks, modified and production sedans and vintage hot rods.

All eyes will be on the compact speedcars for what is their final round, and the competition couldn't get any tighter with a couple of drivers tied on points heading into the final hitout.

Justin Paull and Trevor Perry both sit on 188 points going into Saturday, ahead of Tania Hallet on 136.

But saving the best until last, this final round has double points up for grabs, and in good news for fans of the series, nearly all cars in the top 10 have nominated to race.

Not to be outshone, though, the smallest steerers will also be on track for the last round of their series in the JSPA.

Nominations include the H051 of Archie Thomas, along with 14 other top stars and eight new stars.

Of other significance, a late farmer from Kalkee will again be commemorated and remembered for his contribution to Blue Ribbon Raceway with the staging of the V8 Truck Robin Thomas Memorial.

A former president, life member and manger of the track, Thomas was, before all of those roles, instrumental in the establishment of Horsham Motorsports Club.

Gates for spectators will be open from 1pm, with racing from 2pm.
