Speed demon nabbed
COP IN THE CORNER: Travelling along the Western Highway on the outskirts of Horsham at Easter, approaching a left-hand bend with double lines, a car sped past.
There was oncoming traffic but the speeding motorist cut in front of the vehicle it was overtaking and avoided a possible tragedy.
"Where are the police when you need them?"
Red and blue flashing lights sped past on a straight stretch of road.

Officers were seen having a chat with the errant driver a little while later.
He obviously didn't check ahead before overtaking and he didn't check his rear view mirror either.
