Horsham North's stop on the silo art trail has a bright new look, making the site a "must revisit" for district residents and out-of-towners alike.
Creating an entirely new artwork and refreshing one of two existing murals has recently been wrapped up by Australian-born, Scottish-based artist Sam Bates, popularly known as Smug.
His work appears on a large shed between the silo and the flour mill, connecting the previous works of art, and is designed to complement the original portrait of a red-tailed black cockatoo on the mill.
Smug also made adjustments to the image he installed last year of sportsman, hunter, warrior, mail rider and tracker Yanggendyinanyuk, to produce a more accurate representation of the renowned 19th-century Aboriginal community leader.
