Shortlisted for awards
The Horsham Times has been shortlisted to collect the top honour in its category at the Victorian Country Press Association annual awards.
It won the award for Overall Newspaper Excellence last year, and is now in the running to repeat the feat.
The newspaper's five-week campaign to draw attention to domestic violence - pioneered by Wimmera Mallee News journalist Zoey Andrews and which ran across all the group's mastheads during May and June - also is shortlisted for Best Editorial Campaign.

More than 30 publications across Victoria are represented on the shortlist of finalists for the awards night on November 15.
A total of 536 entries were submitted for this year's "newspaper Oscars".
