Senior citizens on the cards
LOOKING for a relaxed and fun way to spend your afternoon?
Join the Rainbow Senior Citizens for some friendly card games.
Everyone is welcome to come and play 500, a popular card game that’s easy to learn and lots of fun.
If you enjoy classic card games that mix strategy, teamwork, and a little luck, 500 might become your new favourite – it’s played with at least four players, divided into teams of two, competing against each other.
The Rainbow players have encouraged people of all ages to come along – whether you want to learn the game, practice your skills, or just have some fun.
The group meets on Monday and Wednesday afternoons at 2pm at the Rainbow RSL, and the cost to play is just $1.
On Wednesdays, there’s also afternoon tea, and every other month, the group shares a pie and dessert before starting to play, depending on what the group decides.
