Scott Street amenities upgrade well under way
A significant upgrade to the amenities facility in Scott Street is well under way, work crews having been at the site since the start of this month.

The project is expected to be completed by the end of April.
Designed to provide enhanced accessibility, comfort and safety for all, the upgrade will see accessible toilets, automatic sliding doors and a complete modern fit-out put into the existing facility.
Baby changing tables and hot water will also be installed.
Improvements will ensure the facility meets the highest standards of accessibility and convenience, catering to the high volume of foot traffic it receives.

If the project is not completed in time for Warracknabeal Easter in the 'Beal, council will work with the committee to make alternative amenities arrangements.

While the upgrade is under way, alternative public amenities can be accessed at Warracknabeal Town Hall, 39 Scott Street, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm; and at Warracknabeal Lions Park, 84 Craig Avenue, and at the boat ramp in Craig Avenue at weekends and after 5pm.
