The Horsham Saints finished the WFNL grand final on a high, claiming the C Grade and C Reserve grand finals in front of a lively crowd at the Dimboola Recreation Reserve on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
The C Grade side defeated Stawell 35-30, with Rebecca Pohlner scoring 20 goals while Kristy Robertson and Kira Hobbs added 9 and 6, respectively.
Coach Kristine Grace said the premiership was memorable for many reasons.
"There's a lot of good stories with these girls," she said.
"I have team members who have played over 200 games for the club, and this was their first premiership.
"We have one player who had never won a game of senior netball before she came to the club, now she can say she's not only won a game, but now a premiership."
Grace praised her club members who joined the side and celebrated while singing 'When the Saints go marching in'.
"We're very passionate," she said.
"I've been in the club a long time. It's great one to be involved in."

The passion was fully displayed when the C Reserve side capped off the double, defeating rival Horsham 41-40.
The Demons went into the game undefeated and looked like it would go all the way when they held a three-goal lead for much of the game.
However, Saint Rori Marshman came out firing in the fourth quarter, shooting five goals in the first five minutes to give her side the team.
The Demons clawed back from a three-goal deficit to draw level with less than a minute left in play.
Marshman stood tall and shot the game-winning goal with seconds remaining to claim the premiership.
She finished with 27 goals, including 10 in the last quarter, while teammate Breanna Dyke added 14.
