Ron Zanker wins CWA Christmas raffle
Ron Zanker is the lucky winner of this year's Willenabrina Country Women’s Association (CWA) Christmas raffle.
The prize, presented at a recent gathering, included a festive Christmas wall hanging, a beautifully crafted Christmas cake and a hand towel.
Outgoing branch president Sandra Stronach had the honour of handing over the prize, joined by incoming president Kirsty Keys, who expressed her excitement about leading the branch in the coming year.
Both leaders praised the community’s strong support for the raffle and other fundraising efforts.
The annual raffle is a key component of the CWA’s ongoing fundraising initiatives, which support local projects and charitable efforts.
“It’s always heartwarming to see our community come together to make these events a success,” Mrs Keys said.
The CWA extends its gratitude to everyone who purchased tickets and wishes the community a joyful holiday season.
