Roadworks in motion
Three roadworks projects are either already completed or under way in Hindmarsh Shire.

Three roadworks projects are either already completed or under way in Hindmarsh Shire.
In Lorquon–Netherby Road, stablisation contractors have laid slag-lime to strengthen the subgrade with a view to extending the lifespan of the surface.
About one kilometre of the road is being reconstructed, focusing on the three sections that are in the poorest condition.
The project will repair pavement failure caused by waterlogging in recent years.
Stabilisation patching of small sections is being carried out along Rainbow–Nhill Road.
The work is due to be wrapped up within the next few days.
Foot traffic is not being forgotten, concrete works between the post office and SES base in Nhill having been carried out to repair a retaining wall and a section of footpath that had been affected by tree roots.
The damage had created potential tripping hazards.
