Revised Disability Day celebration date

THE rescheduled date to locally celebrate the International Day of People with a Disability has been announced by Hindmarsh Shire Council.

International Day of People with Disability is a United Nations-observed day that aims to increase public awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability and celebrate their achievements and contributions.

All are invited for lawn bowls, giant games, a BBQ lunch and music at the Dimboola Bowling Club in Lloyd Street on Wednesday, February 11, between 10am and 2pm.

There will be all abilities access to the bowling green.
