Probus enjoy festive lunch

Amidst the charming ambience of the Victoria Hotel, hosts Stoph and Meran Pilmore organised a delightful Christmas-in-July lunch for the Dimboola Probus Club.
The event was held in the Victorian elegance of the dining room, and 20 members attended the function.
They gathered around a long table adorned with beautiful Australian flora and festive red linen in creative individualised rings, and were treated to a choice between roast lamb or roast pork, accompanied by a variety of roasted vegetables.
For dessert, there was a delectable apple crumble served with vanilla ice cream.
Club member Jan Post praised the pork as ”absolutely lovely” and numerous others attested to the tenderness of the lamb.
In addition to the culinary delights, the Probus members revelled in the convivial atmosphere, savouring a glass of fine wine as they embraced the opportunity to reconnect with one another.
The gathering served as a delightful respite, allowing members to catch up, exchange stories, and strengthen the bonds of friendship.
