Police seek assistance with several investigations across the region
Warrants, thefts and suspicious activity prompts police request for public help

Wanted on Warrant - Benjamin Wilson
The 31-year-old is wanted on warrant for drug offences and contravening court orders.
He is known to frequent the Horsham and Warracknabeal areas.

Tatyoon Theft investigation
Northern Grampians Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a burglary in Tatyoon between the 23rd of August 2024 and the 28th of August 2024.

It is believed unknown offender(s) have attended the Tatyoon Football Club and stole a safe containing a large amount of cash from within.
Police are seeking public assistance to identify further witnesses and information.

Car impounded

On the September 9 2024 a 32-year-old male was found driving an unregistered vehicle with false plates in Warracknabeal. The driver was pulled over and found to be disqualified from driving. As a result, his vehicle was impounded at a cost of $1789. He will be summonsed to appear at court at a later date in relation to driving offences.
Suspicious Fire

Detectives have released further CCTV as part of their investigation into a suspicious car fire in Horsham earlier this year.
Emergency services were called to reports of a car fire in the driveway of a home on Albert Street about 5.10am on Saturday July 27.
The unoccupied vehicle was destroyed, and the property's carport was badly damaged by the blaze.
No one was injured during the incident.
Investigators have released further CCTV showing a white Volkswagen station wagon stopped at the intersection of Urquhart Street and Palk Avenue in Horsham about 4.45am.
The footage shows a person detectives believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
