The Pimpinio Tigers have secured a third straight Horsham District Football Netball League under 17 premiership.

The Tigers beat the Laharum Demons 12.18 (90) - 7.14 (56) at Stawell's North Park.

Tigers under 17s coach Brett Thompson said it 'feels really good' to see his side win the grand final.

"It was a really pressured game," he said.

"Laharum certainly came to play and it was a really good game of footy."

The Tigers had the better of the Demons from the start though.

Pimpinio scored three three goals nine behinds in the opening quarter, to lead Laharum by 12 at the first break.

And through the second and third quarters, Pimpinio's advantage only grew.

By three quarter time, Pimpinio held the lead by 35 points.

Laharum narrowly outscored the Tigers in the closing quarter of the game but the result was already seen up in favour of the defending premiers.

"We did it as a team," said Thompson.

"Every single boy was involved and we linked up really well."

This victory adds another premiership to Pimpinio's unbroken run of wins, which stretches back to 2021.

"It's a pretty phenomenal effort, hopefully these boys appreciate what they've been in."

Pimpinio's Austin Simpson won best on ground.
