'Perfect time': The Wimmera Mail-Times launches new regional property guide
The new Wimmera property guide to launch on Friday, October 11.
The Wimmera Mail-Times is launching its first-ever regional property guide this Friday, responding to high demand from readers and subscribers.
Sales manager Clint King said the new 24-page lift-out would feature a one-stop guide to buying and selling property in the Wimmera.
"With the conclusion of football finals, the end of school holidays, and the arrival of warmer weather, the timing is ideal for those looking to buy or sell property in the region," he said.
"This new lift-out will be the first of its kind in the Wimmera, featuring a comprehensive showcase of real estate agents and property listings from across Ararat, Stawell, Halls Gap, Horsham, and surrounding areas.
"Readers can expect to find properties for sale, land sales and subdivisions, open inspection schedules, and rental availability-all conveniently compiled into a weekly 24-page supplement."
In addition to the print version, Mr King said a free digital flipbook would be available online, promoted heavily through the newspaper's digital channels, ensuring maximum exposure for the region's real estate market.
"This new lift-out would be promoted online to the newspaper's 24,000-plus social media followers, ensuring wide exposure for the region's real estate market," he said.
"The first edition launches on Friday, October 11, providing an essential resource for both property hunters and sellers across the Wimmera."
Area Specialist Horsham principal Chris Schirmer said now is the perfect time for the real estate sector.
"Spring is globally recognised as the best time to sell your home," he said.
"Interest is at an all-time high. Gardens look majestic, homeowners have more time during the weekend, and people are starting to think about the following year.
"We expect the market to go gangbusters between now and Christmas as families look to move into their new home by the New Year."
Mr Schirmer said home buyers would see a variety of properties for sale.
"We're seeing well-priced properties coming into the market," he said.
