In the very early 1900's a father and son building team arrived in Rainbow.
Experts in their field, having built many houses and barns, they added the stables at the Eureka Hotel to their list of achievements - the largest stables in Victoria at the time - befer the son, Thomas Ismay opened a hardward store in Rainbow.
That was 100 years ago next month, and to celebrate, T. Ismay & Co are rebranding as Home Hardware with new flooring, an all-abilities door and ramp, new shop fittings including a split system and air conditioning, and new ceiling.
The Railway Street store plan to spend an entire month enjoying the centenary celebration, and invite everyone to join them.
There will be lucky door prizes, giveaways, in-store promotions and Fat Friday sausage sizzles running from November 8 to December 6
