Overnight devastation: Farmhouse Providore and Cafe' gutted by fire
Horsham's popular go-to place gutted by fire overnight
Update (8am): A spokesperson for the CFA advised they were called to a shop fire just after 2am on Firebrace Street at Horsham.
Firefighters found the building was well alight on arrival.
Two neighbouring shops received some damage.
There are no reported injuries as a result of the fire.
The incident was brought under control at 5.57am but the scene is yet to be deemed safe.
The cause of the fire will be investigated when safe to do so.
There were seven CFA units on scene supported by FRV crews.
Two CFA trucks remain on scene.
Earlier: One of Horsham's popular go-to places has been gutted by fire overnight but owners are already making plans to continue to serve their customers.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Wednesday morning October 9 at about 2 am.
The fire has gutted the popular Farmhouse Providore and Cafe' on Firebrace Street.
Emergency services are on the scene and investigations are underway.
The cause has not been determined but a possible electrical fault are being considered along with the investigations.
Emergency services are checking the adjoining businesses for possible damage.
The Farmhouse Cafe has been a popular meeting place for local and tourists and is known for it's generosity to community and causes.
Owners have informed the public this morning, staff will be working from their other business, Cafe Jas, as of this morning and they look forward to seeing you there until they find another place to operate the Farmhouse Cafe.
Firebrace Street is closed between Roberts Ave and McLachlan Street.
Police ask the public to avoid the area.
