OpenRoads Rally is proud to announce a special, limited-edition event in 2023: OpenRoads Rally Desert Edition.

Set against the backdrop of the remote Little Desert and staged out of Riverside Holiday Park, Dimboola, on October 6-8, this two-day, two-night rally is not just another event - it’s an exclusive navigation rally experience.

With a cap of 150 riders it will be a close-knit environment, with camaraderie nostalgic of the first OpenRoads Rally back in 2019.

The Little Desert beckons with its distinctive sand tracks, making it an ideal location in which to hone sand riding skills.

But for anyone who’s hesitant to ride sand or is seeking variety, the event also offers two dirt-only (no sand) routes, providing an equal measure of challenge and enjoyment.

OpenRoads Rally’s mission remains unchanged: to combine skill diversity and inclusivity with being affordable yet premium and a stepping stone.

With tracks of varying challenges, every rider, whether novice or pro, will find their fit.

OpenRoads Rally is a grassroots event and collaboration with sponsors and volunteers focuses on ensuring an affordable experience for all participants.

The organisation stands by its principle of openness and is proud of the diverse representation in its team and attendees.

This rally is for everyone.

And for those who might be dreaming of larger rallies, OpenRoads is an accessible introduction, especially for those keen on events like the Dakar.‍

OpenRoads Rally is a one-of-a-kind event and one of the only navigation rallies available in Australia.

With only a few of the 150 spots remaining at this limited edition event, the clock is ticking to book a spot.

‍OpenRoads Rally is sponsored by Suzuki Motorcycles Australia, Aurora Rally Equipment Australia, StayUpright Rider Training and Bodriggy Brewing Co.
