Local police are appealing for information after two cars were vandalised near the hospital last week.
The first car, on the night of Thursday July 20, had six of its BMW badges stolen.
The second car, also a BMW, had five of its badges taken the following night.
Both cars belonged to Melbourne-based nurses who had travelled to Warracknabeal to help the rural community, and were staying in Gould Street where the cars were parked.
Both nurses were on night-shift at the time of the thefts.
If anyone saw signs of suspicious activity, or knows of someone with a sudden surplus of BMW car badges, please speak to officers to Warracknabeal Police Station on (03) 5396 2100.
