Nhill hosts key Saints clash
Nhill hosts the Saints in the fourth round of Wimmera Football Netball League footy, in what is a battle between a couple of the top four teams.
The Horsham Saints are currently second, with a couple of wins and a loss, while the Tigers are third, also with a couple of wins, but having had a bye.
Horsham has been served well this season by Cody Bryan, Gage Wright and Will Brennan, while for Nhill, Lachlan Gill and Liam Albrecht have been dominant in their matches.
Coach of the Horsham side, Angus Martin, is expecting a challenge this week.
"Nhill I expect to be fit and work hard up and down the ground," Martin predicted.
"They are very well coached so it will be a good battle."
Martin added the side has a lot of depth, with some good players in their lineup.
"Jake McQueen being their key, but most of their midfield are hard workers as well," he said.
Coming off a loss last week, a 10-point defeat to the Thunder, Martin said they knew where they went wrong.
"Last week we went away from the style of play we showed in the first two games," he admitted frankly.
"We need to get the game played on our terms early."
