The Tourist Information Centre committee is delighted that the Yarriambiack Shire attractions information board has been erected outside the Tourist Centre in Scott Street.

It was funded thanks to a shire share grant obtained some time ago, but the completion of the board was held up due to Covid and the renovation of the Tourist Centre.

As part of the grant, a blue and white Information sign is also being prepared and will feature daily outside the Centre.

The Tourist Centre committee worked with representatives from other towns in the shire to make the information board a reality, and to fill it with lots of information about our towns.

The information board, which is beside the Warracknabeal information board, advertises assets and attractions in each of the towns in Yarriambiack Shire, along with a map and heading advertising our place as the "home of the original Silo Art Trail."

The two information boards outside the Tourist Centre cater to visitors to the town, especially if the Centre, which is staffed by volunteers, is closed.
