New candidates for Malllee

There are now six candidates for the seat of Mallee for the upcoming federal election.

Castlemaine's Greg Olsen of the Labor Party and MIldura's Ashleigh Gray of the Family First Party announced their intentions to challenge incumbent Dr Anne Webster's seat.

Mr Olsen has undertaken various studies and has degrees in music, social work and public policy and management, supporting his work in corrections, child services and disability services.

Mr Gray has with a number of non-government organisations, such as the Salvation Army, to support some of the region's most disadvantaged people.

The two hopefuls vie for the seat alongside Dr Webster from The Nationals, Nicole Rowan from the Greens, Chris Lahy from the Australian Citizens’ Party, and Vaughn Williams from One Nation.
