Natimuk duo won the Wimmera Districts’ Snow Barry Memorial Sandgreen 4BBB Stableford event on Sunday at Dimboola Golf Club.
The competition had a fantastic turnout of 72 participants competing for the shield coming from all over the Wimmera, including Serviceton, Edenhope, Natimuk, Rupanyup, Minyip, Horsham, Warracknabeal, Moor Park, Nhill, and Dimboola.
The weather was perfect for a round of Golf.
The day’s winners were again from Natimuk, but this year’s winners were Wayne McDonald & Reg Cunningham, with a great score of 46.
Runners up from Dimboola were Bob Richard and Greg Proud, with a great score of 45.
Third place was on a countback with numerous other groups - but the third place went to Glen Morgan & Tony Stephenson from Rupanyup with 43.
The best Mixed team was won by Wendy Hewitt & Ash Purdue from Warracknabeal with 43 points, and the best ladies’ team was won by Janice Midgley & Emma Cameron from Minyip with 41 points.
NTPs for the men - on the 4th: Trevor Polkinghorn (Nhill), 13th: Ross Howlett (Dimboola) & 18th: Shane Grover (Nhill).
NTPs for the ladies - 4th: Meagan Pohlner (Dimboola), 13th: Cindy Marsh (Minyip), & on the 18th: Julie Wirth (Horsham).
