Murtoa by Twilight, families gathered on the banks of Lake Marma

Murtoa by Twilight attracted a great crowd to the Christmas event.

Murtoa by Twilight Market and entertainment on the banks of Lake Marma was a family-friendly event, and had something for everyone.

Food vans in abundance provided street food, including the ever-popular pizza and fish and chips.

Murtoa Lions manned the sausage sizzle, so everyone was catered for at the twilight event.

Several free activities for children, including the sand pit and jumping castle favourites, were popular.

HeadRush provided the music and entertainment, playing many favourites among the crowd and kept the upbeat atmosphere going throughout the evening.

The cute Valais Blacknose sheep - Callum, Blaze and Rusty - and Red the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo created a lot of interest and children were encouraged to get to know the animals and birds and learn about them.

These interactive sites attracted the crowd keen to cuddle tiny goats, pat blacknosed sheep and hold exotic birds.

The arrival of Santa on the CFA truck created a great deal of excitement and photo opportunities.

Families relaxed on the lawns and deck chairs to enjoy the warm summer evening and entertainment.
