Mobile recycling on trial
Yarriambiack Shire Council is trialling a mobile recycling service across smaller communities in the municipality.
Yarriambiack Shire Council is trialling a mobile recycling service, The Little Yellow Wagon, visiting Beulah, Yaapeet, Patchewollock and Speed next month.
The Little Yellow Wagon will first cover Beulah, Yaapeet, Patchewollock and Speed and will be located at the same stops as council's Engagement Van – Words on Wheels.
The service aims to provide an easy and convenient way for residents to recycle or safely dispose of household problem waste including gas bottles, fire extinguishers, paint, batteries, oils, fluorescent light tubes, smoke detectors and electronic waste (e-waste).

On Friday April 4 it will be at Beulah from 9am to 11am followed by Yaapeet from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
It will visit Patchewollock from 9am to 11am and Speed from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on Friday April 11.
