Minyip Murtoa seeks luck against Ararat
Burras hoping for a bit of luck, alongside four quarter effort on Saturday
Luck has in no way been on Minyip Murtoa's side this season when it comes to results.
From six hit-outs, they've lost a couple of games by just a couple of points, and then had a draw last round.
But this week, despite Ararat being one of the front-runners of the competition this season, Minyip Murtoa will be hoping for a bit of luck, along with a four-quarter effort from their players, in order to get their first win for the year.
But it'll be no easy feat given Ararat are 4-2 this year and in fourth on the ladder.
Burras coach, Luke Fisher, said his side always goes into games with a positive frame of mind.
"We look at how we can win the game and break down what the opposition does well," he admitted.
Fisher acknowledged Ararat is a well-drilled side that moves the ball well.
"They always seem to be on the same page and are predictable to each other," Fisher said.
"They have some prime movers, and guys like Ben Taylor is an example of this."
But Fisher said the Burras will continue to work on their ball movement plan and focus on the lack of kicks into the 50.
"Obviously, we need to restrict the slick ball movement of Ararat as well, as I have mentioned previously," the coach concluded.
