Minyip Murtoa look to stay in touch with the four
Minyip Murtoa will have the opportunity to stay in touch with the four when they line up against the bottom-placed Demons on Saturday.
The Burras are currently sixth, outside of the four by just one match.
Dimboola, Horsham Saints, and Stawell are all on 16 points, with the Burras and Thunder on 12.
The Demons will be feeling unlucky after coming agonisingly close to their first win of the season last week, defeated by Thunder by just a point.
They did everything right to hold the lead by 18 points heading into the final quarter, but ultimately a behind rushed gave their opposition the win.
Minyip Murtoa is also coming off a loss, but at the hands of Nhill, and by 20 points.
Nhill, who are second, are a team to be reckoned with this season, and so such a close loss shows the Burras can also pull together a competitive effort.
The Burras have been led well this season by the likes of Kade Petering and Timothy Mackenzie, while for the Demons, Benjamin Janetzki and Jasper Gunn have so far been solid.
