The Warracknabeal Lions Club will be holding their first market of the year this Saturday.

Organiser Heather Huebner said she is looking forward to once again seeing the stalls set up, The Adventurers manning the barbecue and the community perusing the wide variety of goods on offer.

“The market will run from 9am to 1pm in the Ritchie’s IGA carpark and in front of the information centre,” she said.

“We have roughly 19 stalls booked in, including the ever-popular sweet treats and donuts, clothing racks, giftware, artwork, garden art and plants, and more.

“Hopefully the weather will be kind - it should be cooler, but hopefully not too windy."

The market is always a wonderful morning outing for families and visitors, providing our small town with an opportunity to buy items from local businesses and cottage crafters.
