Warrack Eagles U17 netballer Maggie McCoy was the round 11 winner of the Wimmera Football Netball League Blue Ribbon Foundation Spirit of Netball award.
She received her award from Beulah's Leading Senior Constable Shayne Riggall at Warracknabeal's netball court on Saturday morning.
The Spirit of Netball award is for athletes who showcase their sportsmanship, fair play and with mutual respect.
Bonnie Dunn said has been coaching Maggie for two years."I have had the pleasure of coaching Maggie for the past two years and could honestly say that the Blue Ribbon Award is an award she could be given every week," Dunn said.
"Maggie displays all the award criteria on and off the court.
"She is a respected team member and shows respect in return to her coach, teammates, and opposition.
"Maggie works hard at training and on game days and has been allowed to play senior netball as a reward for her hard work.
"Maggie is always eager to learn and dedicated to being the best player she can be.
"Congratulations, Maggie - I look forward to watching the beautiful things coming your way, on and off the court."
