Longerenong College welcomes new general manager, Jacinta Langdon
Langdon brings 25 years of agricultural leadership to Longy.
A leader with more than two decades of leadership will steer the Wimmera's agricultural education into a new era.
Former Dairy Australia figurehead Jacinta Langdon was appointed at the new General Manager Longerenong College, bringing with her 25 years of experience in the agricultural, land management, and environmental industries.
Her diverse roles have included business owner, agronomist, extension officer, and trainer.
Ms Langdon said she was honored to lead Longerenong into the future.
"I'm leading a great team of very dedicated people and hope that my passion for agriculture and my commitment to nurturing young people will equip our students with the skills and attitude to make a significant impact in the agriculture industry across Australia and internationally," she said.
"I'm excited to work with the College and the wider community to ensure Longy continues to develop exceptional individuals. I look forward to driving the growth and success of our students, fostering the next generation of leaders in agriculture."
Skillinvest chief executive Darren Webster said Ms Langdon storied history would have an positive impact on the college's agriculture training and education.
"We are thrilled to welcome Jacinta to Skillinvest and Longerenong College," he said.
"Her extensive experience and dedication to the agricultural sector make her an ideal fit for this role.
"We are confident that under her leadership, the college will continue to thrive and inspire the next generation of agricultural professionals."
Ms Langdon commenced as General Manager at Longerenong College on August 26.
