Local lawn bowlers start the week out on a roll with midweek competition
Round eight of the midweek bowls was played on November 25.

The region's keenest lawn bowlers were in action on Monday, November 25 for round eight of the Wimmera Playing Area division one midweek pennant lawn bowls.
It was a top-four clash at Horsham City Bowling Club as the home side faced Nhill.
In other matches, ladder leaders Dimboola traveled to Kaniva, while Sunnyside hosted Coughlin Park.
Weekend action
This capped of another busy week on week on the greens.
Round eight of the division one weekend competition saw ladder leaders Coughlin Park claim a home 82 shots and 14 points to 61-2 victory against Sunnyside.
At Goroke, Nhill defeated Goroke/Edenhope 85 (16) - 61 (0) as the visitors sit in third on the ladder.
Horsham Golf made the trip to Kaniva but were unable to come away with the victory as the scoreline was 75 (14) - 74 (2).
Dimboola completed the round win an upset 88 (16) - 66 (0) win against second-placed Horsham City.
