Lions club rebranding
The Lions Club of Green Park might have a brand new name but they will continue their dedicated and tireless work as usual.
Formerly City of Horsham Lions Club, the group acknowledged and welcomed Lions V2 District Governor, Michelle Challis, and President Carolyn Maltry of the newly formed Lions Club of Green Park at the Royal Hotel in Horsham.
Ms Challis presented Mrs Maltry and her members with the Green Park Lions Club bannerette, badge and polo shirt as a sign of the change of name.
With its former name, there was confusion surrounding the club and the distinct and separate Lions Club of Horsham.
The change will highlight the uniqueness of the Green Park Lions Club, through their involvement in community events and the association it has with the Green Park Dog Park on Plant Avenue, Horsham.
Riding for the Disabled, Military Collection and Wimmera Animal Rescue.
The club is currently recruiting for new members and volunteer supporters who could offer some assistance at their monthly market barbecues and their club meetings.
