Lions' Christmas success leads in to Aus Day
The Lions Club of Beulah wishes to thank all sponsors, helpers and volunteers who supported the annual Christmas Eve party at the Beulah Creek.
This is a great family event including Santa, a free barbecue, a jumping castle, a monster raffle, some local entertainment and the EG Christmas Carols.
The Lions Club members is few in numbers and all are getting older, but it believes that community helping is very important.
The event was well attended by more than 150 people.
The club is holding its annual Australia Day breakfast on Sunday January 26 starting at 9am with an assembly at the post office for a flag-raising and walk to Community Centre for breakfast.
The day will also feature the opening of the Memorial Hall Time Capsule after 25 years.
